A two-channel synchronized video installation where each screen is projected onto the space of an adjacent wall and meeting at their corner, 14-minute loop.

The Divide explores methods of audio description, an activity usually recorded to augment visual media in order to make material accessible for the blind and visually impaired.  A pair of identical twins narrate sets of stereoscopic images produced over a century ago.  While the images themselves oscillate causing a three dimensional effect for the viewing audience, the work engages the slippage that occurs during any mode of translation, as the twins interject their own subjective experiences onto their readings of the images.
